April 11, 2017 Section 10:35-70 Christ as Judge, Christ as Guide, The Gates of Hell, Nedra, Endure to the End, Contention, The Lord’s Way, Hen Gathereth Her Chickens, V 37 is Christ’s tender teaching to Joseph Smith after Martin Harris had lost the 116 pages of the Book of Lehi. “ But as you cannot always judge the righteous, or as you cannot always tell the wicked from the righteous, therefore I say unto you, hold your peace until I shall see fit to make all things known unto the world concerning this matter.” The Lord not only sees into my heart, but He sees into everyone’s heart. He alone is the one who can truly judge. That brings me comfort, for most of the time I am trying hard to live up to His commandments. And if I keep in contact with Him and petition Him, He will lovingly direct my thoughts and actions in a way that will benefit me AND those around me whom I might be able to help.
