May 9, 2018 Section 95:3-8 Lord’s Priorities, Temple Endowment, Lord’s Teachings, Obedience, As the Lord continues in this section, he continues to explain to them some of the ways the new ‘saints’ have let him down. He tells them that it is important to have the temple built. They received that commandment 6 months earlier and had done nothing—and yet as I have read the sections leading up to this and looked at the history of those 6 months, they have been very busy. It seems that the Lord has priorities, and he wants his children to realize just what those priorities are. So now he does more teaching—and explains the deep importance of the temple: that when he is able to “ endow those whom I have chosen with power from on high” (v 8) that that will make a tremendous difference in their lives. Reading this, I realize that I, most probably, do not understand the power and strength of the endowment. I hope that will come with time and with temple attenda...
