Section 29:22-30
End of the Earth, Renewal of the Earth, Heaven Animals Will Be There, Adam is Michael, Spirit Power Of, Spirit Importance Of, Spirit = Power,

After the Lord speaks of the ‘end of the earth’ as we know it, he speaks of the renewal of the earth. It will come at the end of the 1000 years of the millennium. V 24: “For all old things shall pass away, and all things shall become new, even the heaven and the earth, and all the fullness thereof, both men and beasts, the fowls of the air, and the fishes of the sea;” Joseph Fielding Smith explained in the 1928 Oct Gen Conf: This “does not mean that this earth shall pass away and another take its place, and the heaven thereof shall pass away, and another heaven take its place, but that the earth and its heaven shall, after passing away through death, be renewed again in immortality. This earth is living and must die, but since it keeps the law it shall be restored through the resurrection by which it shall become celestialized and the abode of celestial beings….So we see that the Lord intends to save, not only the earth and the heavens, not only man who swells upon the earth, but all things which he has created. The animals, the fishes of the sea, the fowls of the air, as well as man, are to be re-created, or renewed, through the resurrection, for they too are living.

V 26-27 seems to say that the resurrection, though it happens in stages, will be completed before the end of the earth, and the judgment will be completed.

V 29 speaks of those who will be cast out with the devil and his angels “for where I am they cannot come, for they have no power.”  That phrase is more fully explained in V 30: “the word of my power, which is the power of my Spirit.” P 62 “He has said that they cannot come where He is, and they have no power, meaning that the power of the Spirit is completely withdrawn from them.”

Adam, the first man, and Michael, the Archangel, are one in the same.  P62:  “Adam will, when the earth is cleansed and purified and becomes a celestial globe, preside over the children of men, who are of his posterity. He is Adam, ‘the prince, the arch-angle.’ In the eternities before this earth was formed he was the arch-angel. He became Adam when he came to this earth to be the father of the human family (D&C 107:54-57)”
